School Meals

 

Our School Meals for the children are provided via the Hampshire County Council Catering Services (HC3S) and served from the school kitchen in the Hall.

 

  • School meals in Hampshire cost £3.00 each. (June 2023)

 

If you would like to arrange for your child to have school meals, either for a short period, or longer term, please ask for further information at the school office.

Can my child have a packed lunch?

 

Yes, you can provide a healthy packed lunch in a named lunch bag/box for your child. Please be aware that we are a NUT FREE school.

 

 

What time is lunch?

 

Lunchtime starts at 12:00 and finishes at 13:00 pm. For lunch we offer the option of a hot school dinner, including a meat or vegetarian option or a jacket potato. Your child will be asked what they would like at the start of each day during registration, so please help them be aware of their choices.
 

What is on the menu?

 

School meals follow a set menu on a three week cycle throughout the school year. You can view the school menu for each week in English and a number of other languages on the Hampshire County Council menu page.

 

There are also meal choices available for children with specific dietary needs.

  • A jacket Potato options is also available, but not stated on the menu; Monday – Tuna, Tuesday – Cheese, Wednesday – Chicken Mayo
    Thursday – Vegetarian Sausage,  Friday – Cheese & Beans (subject to change)

 

Free School Meals

 

Some children may be eligible for free school meals; the criteria for eligibility includes being in receipt of specific benefits or support arrangements.

Snacks and Drinks

 

Children are asked to bring a healthy snack with them for morning break.

 

Please ensure your child has a named water bottle that can go to class with them each day.
