Regular Activities, Holiday Activities and Community Events

We are often sent details of local regular events,  holiday activities and afterschool activities - we were sharing them on facebook - but we have decide instead to add them to this page on our web site - so please come back often and visit to collect ideas and perhaps encourage your child to try something new.

Regular Clubs in the local community

 

  • Wednesday Junior Sailing - https://rlymyc.org.uk/afloat/youth-sailing/wednesday-sailing

    This is an amazing opportunity for young people age 8-18 to learn to sail, race, row or powerboat working torwards RYA recognised qualifications in Lymington from 4-6pm April to September is Lymington for just £1 per session. You don't have to be a member of the Royal Lymington and it is open to all children.

    "We are 1st Lymington and Pennington Scout Group and have been around for a long time! Our troop was started right at the beginning of Scouting and continues to this day. We have a Beaver Scout Colony for 6-8 year olds, a Cub Scout Pack for 8-10 year olds and a Scout Troop for 10-14 year olds. Our Scout Hut is based in Pennington and our Scouts come from Lymington, Pennington, East Boldre, Pilley, Boldre, and Sway.We go camping, do abseiling, climbing, shooting, archery and loads of other cool things? Why not join us in the largest youth movement in the world."

    We have active Rainbow, Brownies and Guide Units in Pennington welcoming girls from the age of 5 upwards to enjoy a variety of activities and adventures in the purpose built Guide Hut near the back entrance to Priestlands School.

    Coashing and cricket training for youn people from the age of 5, more information and session times on their web site.
     

  • Construction Club at Lymington Library - search for events

    Come along to our construction club, drop in between 2.30pm and 4pm every Saturday (under 8's must be supervised) - other activities are also offered.
