Clubs and Activities

We are incredibly excited at Pennington Church of England Junior School to offer a great variety of regular and varied program of extra activities that your children can enjoy, as well as providing wrap around care from 7.45 to 4.30 for our children!

Updated September 2020:

Before and after-school care is very important to many parents and we are working hard to try to ensure that we can offer this next term.  Unfortunately, we will not be able to run our usual range of clubs and we cannot offer our usual ‘drop-in’ opportunity due to government guidance.  However, we are hoping to offer care in lower school and upper school groupings for parents who need it.  We will ask parents to sign up in advance and the government guidance says this group will need to stay consistent to minimise risk. There will be a maximum number and once we reach this, we will not be able to exceed it.

Please call the school office 01590 672104 from 1pm on Thursday 3rd of September or send an email to adminoffice@pennington-jun.hants.sch.uk to book a place for either before or after school, stating name of child, day you require care.   Clubs run from 7:45 am and until 16.30pm every day. The cost is £1.50 per session and this is payable via SCOPAY.

We are very aware that football is an extremely important part of our children’s lives.  We will therefore endeavour to offer a socially distanced football club once a week and we will provide more details about this next term.
