It has been lovely to see a good number of the children back in the last few weeks but we have missed those who have not been able to attend. As we approach the end of another year, we are looking forward to the seeing parents and children at our picnics on the school field in the last week of term.
This will give you and your children one last chance to meet together with their class friends to end the year positively!
The last day for the majority of children will be Friday 17th July. However, we still be open for keyworker children, if necessary, until 1pm on Wednesday 22nd July.
Parents and children need to bring their own picnic and blanket.
The picnics will be weather dependent and cancellation due to rain will be communicated via text but we are hoping for sunshine.
Thank you for all of your support during this timeand we look forward to September, when everyone can return.
******PLEASE NOTE ******
We have just received guidance regarding end of term celebrations –please see below. This means that we will still be able to hold picnics but sadly, parentsand sibling swill notbe able to attend with their children. We are sorry that this is such short notice but we did not get the advice until today, Thursday 16thJuly.
If the weather is fine, children will be able to attend a picnic and sit in groups of no more than 15. We have a large field so this will not be a problem as we can spread the groups out around the field.
We would still like to go ahead with our plans so the children can have a chance to finish the school year.
Please escort the children round to the school field at 12:00, as per our one way system, and continue out of the side gate. Children can be collected from the school field at 1pm, using the same one way system.
Lower School (year 3/4) picnic –12pm -1pm Monday
Upper School (year 5/6) picnic –12pm –1pm Tuesday
Unfortunately, the year 2 children will eat their food on the infant site before they go home but we will go over to join them. We really look forward to seeing them on the 2nd September for a transition day before the rest of the school start on 3rdSeptember.
