Pennington Junior School’s ambitious campaign to raise £1,500 so the school can purchase a set of 30 laptops has been given a boost today. Ian Duncan, from Lymington & Brockenhurst Lions visited the school and generously donated £500 towards their goal. The £1500 goal is to enable a class of children to have one computer each during their ICT (Information Communication Technology) lessons, allowing the school to provide a higher quality of ICT education.
But they don’t want to stop there. The school’s long-term goals are to purchase a further 30 laptops, ensuring that upper and lower school could have a set each. The eventual hope is that every student will have one, giving each child the best possible quality of IT education.
